WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Nick Langworthy is proud to announce two federal grants from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Chautauqua Center and Southern Tier Community Health Center Network totaling more than $5 million dollars. The funding is distributed through the H80 - Health Center Cluster program and will aid the institutions in providing medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and behavioral services to the residents of Southern Tier.

WASHINGTON, DC –April 20th…Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) voted in favor of the Protection of Women and Girls Sports Act (H.R. 734) that amends Title IX to protect women and girls from discrimination in athletics by allowing biological males to participate in an athletic program or activity that is designed for biological females. 

Congressmembers Nick Langworthy (R-NY-23), and Brian Higgins (D-NY-26), together with the families of Flight 3407 and the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) stood together in front of the U.S. Capitol following a hearing on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization to stress the need for Congress to protect flight safety standards, including the 1,500-hour rule for pilot training.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the availability of grants to assist residents in need of home repairs following the severe storm.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy introduced his Protect Local Taxpayers Act in response to Governor Kathy Hochul’s Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Proposal that would raid $625 million in Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) funds that have been designated to counties since 2011.
