Rep. Langworthy Supports Appropriations for Military Family Housing
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) took to the House Floor to support provisions in H.R. 4366, the FY23 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, for the Department of Defense Family Housing Improvement Fund.
“We have heard from many of these families that their current housing situation is inadequate, and in some cases, unsafe or unsuitable for raising a family. This is unacceptable,” said Rep. Langworthy. “The Department of Defense Family Housing Improvement fund will bring about much-needed changes and improvements to the lives of those who selflessly serve our nation. Investing in our military families is not just a matter of gratitude; it is a matter of national security and readiness.”
