Aviation Safety Caucus

Introducing the Aviation Safety Caucus
This bipartisan caucus is led by Chairman Congressman Nick Langworthy (R, NY-23), who successfully fought to amend the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 to maintain the 1,500 hour in-flight pilot training rule, alongside co-chairs, retired naval aviator and airline pilot Congressman Jack Bergman (R,MI-01), and Congressman Marc Veasey (D, TX-33).
The caucus aims to reach across the aisle to advance critical aviation safety policies that prioritize the long-term safety of American airspace. By bringing together members from both parties, aviation experts, and industry stakeholders, the Aviation Safety Caucus will focus on identifying solutions to modern safety challenges.
