Rep. Langworthy on Enhancing National Security in Appropriations Legislation
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) took to the House Floor to support H.R. 4366, the FY23 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, and H.R. 4368, the FY24 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. Both pieces of legislation include provisions to enhance national security.
“Both of the FY24 appropriations bills the House is considering this week will ensure that the federal government fulfills one of its main duties outlined in the Constitution: providing for the common defense of our nation,” said Rep. Langworthy. “In passing both of these critical bills, we provide for the safety and prosperity of our great nation for generations to come.”
