Congressman Langworthy on Investing in the Expansion of Rural Broadband

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) took to the House Floor to support provisions in H.R. 4368, the FY24 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, that will invest millions to expand rural broadband.

“Due to the lack of adequate broadband infrastructure, rural communities face countless barriers to accessing the same opportunities and resources as their urban counterparts,” said Rep. Langworthy. “It’s not just a matter of convenience; it is an investment in our collective future. It is a commitment to empowering all Americans, regardless of where they live, with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.”
