Rep. Langworthy worked closely with the families of Colgan Air Flight 3407, and Reps. Brian Higgins (NY-26) and Claudia Tenney (NY-24) on the amendment.

This amendment was co-sponsored by Reps. Brian Higgins (NY-26), and Claudia Tenney (NY-24). The amendment passed the House in a bipartisan vote of 241-191.
