WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced Chautauqua County has been awarded $143,172 by the Department of Transportation for the Dunkirk Airport.

 

Specifically, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded this grant for the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) for the design and rehabilitation of Taxiway A West at the Dunkirk Airport.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $76,762 to the Wellsville Airport and $33,250 to the Olean Airport for designing a new hangar and a new gate, respectively.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) ripped New York Governor Hochul for her dangerous Green Light Law that has allowed criminal illegal immigrants to be shielded from federal immigration officials. Mr. Langworthy correctly pointed out the absurdity that New York officials share DMV data with Canadian officials but America’s own law enforcement officers are unable to access the information, putting the safety of officers and the public at risk.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) introduced the Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act of 2025 to block federal funding for sanctuary jurisdictions that prohibit or restrict local law enforcement from sharing immigration status information or cooperating with federal immigration enforcement efforts. Sanctuary cities are actively undermining federal immigration enforcement by refusing to cooperate with ICE detainer requests and releasing dangerous criminals back onto our streets.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that the Seneca Nation Department of Transportation has been awarded $5,883,200 by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for the Allegany Territory Bus Facility.

 

This grant was previously announced under the Biden administration but had not received funding yet. This announcement means the project will now receive funds under the Trump administration and Secretary Duffy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that the Finger Lakes Railway Corp. has been awarded $3,869,945 by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) for Watkins Glen Rural track rehabilitation, specifically to be used for consolidated rail infrastructure and safety improvements.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Owego, NY was awarded a $9.5 million contract modification to support repairs of H-60 Naval Hawk helicopters for the United States Navy. This multi-year work will be performed locally and is expected to continue through March 2029.
