“Mark February 22, 2023 as the day New York’s family farms were put on life support thanks to this asinine regulation. As I have said from day one, lowering the overtime threshold from 60 to 40 hours is going to be the final straw for countless multi-generational New York farms who are already barely making ends meet. Our state has been co-opted by New York City interests who know nothing about farm operations and all New Yorkers are going to bear the consequences of this unconscionable decision to decimate an industry we rely on to survive.

“President Biden had the opportunity to speak truthfully to the American people tonight and chart a new course for our nation, but all we heard was the same hollow rhetoric of the last two years. Our nation is hurting--people are struggling to make ends meet under crushing food and energy costs, lawlessness is gripping our cities and communities are being destroyed by the scourge of fentanyl pouring through our open borders.

“Our military needs to shoot down or capture this Chinese spy balloon — the privacy and security of Americans are at risk.  We need a clear answer immediately from President Biden as to why we have seen no action to protect the American people. The administration’s weak and feckless foreign policy has led to the Chinese Communist Party violating our airspace and sovereignty. President Biden knew over a week ago about this spyware but remained silent.
