WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that New York State has been awarded $212 million in federal funding for Fiscal Year 2026 through the Rural Health Transformation Program, a historic investment authorized under H.R. 1 and the Working Families Tax Plan, and announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Clarence, N.Y. — Congressman Nick Langworthy today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has awarded the New York Department of Public Service $5,156,215 through its State Pipeline Safety Base Grant program.

This funding reimburses up to 80 percent of the operating costs for New York’s natural gas pipeline inspection and enforcement program, which ensures the safety and reliability of transmission and distribution pipelines across the state.
