Steuben County, NY – Congressman Nick Langworthy today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $9.5 million in federal disaster recovery funding for critical infrastructure and community repairs in Steuben County. The funding will support the Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District, the Steuben County Department of Public Works, and the Town of Cameron, all of which sustained significant damage from recent severe storms.

Brocton, N.Y. - On Saturday, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) delivered the keynote address at the Veterans for Christ Brunch in partnership with the Purple Heart Honor Flight, where more than 100 veterans, families, and community members gathered to pay tribute to local heroes.

 

The event honored seven veterans from the Korean and Vietnam Wars who received special recognition for their valor and sacrifice.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) today announced the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $1,250,000 to the Village of Portville for drinking water system improvements as a part of the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (STAG).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced today that Lockheed Martin’s Owego facility has been awarded an $18,828,520 contract from the U.S. Department of the Navy. The funding will support the procurement of 25 Digital Magnetic Anomaly Detection (DMAD) hardware kits, along with associated program management services. 

The project work will be carried out in Owego, New York, with an expected completion date of January 2027.
