Rep. Langworthy Supports Agricultural Appropriations Provisions to Strengthen Domestic Supply Chains

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) took to the House Floor to support provisions in H.R. 4368, the FY24 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, that will strengthen domestic supply chains.

“If we learned anything from the pandemic, it’s that we should have strong domestic supply chains so that we aren’t relying on foreign countries for necessities like food and medication,” said Rep. Langworthy. “This bill demonstrates our commitment to strengthening national security and our food supply by making strategic allocations for agriculture research, rural broadband, and programs focused on animal and plant health.”
