Rep. Langworthy on Cutting Wasteful Government Spending in Agriculture Appropriations Legislation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) took to the House Floor to support provisions in H.R. 4368, the FY24 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, that will cut millions in wasteful spending from the federal government.

“This bill represents a balanced approach to funding necessary agencies and programs, it also reclaims fiscal responsibility and reins in the wasteful spending that has plagued our government for far too long.,” said Rep. Langworthy. “We must hold our government accountable for every dollar spent.”
