Congressman Nick Langworthy Reacts to Verdict in Laken Riley Murder Trial

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) issued a statement following the conviction of illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra for the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley. Ibarra was found guilty of one count of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, one count of kidnapping, and other crimes.

"Justice was served today as Jose Ibarra, who was here on American soil on the taxpayers' dime thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration and the radical Democrats in New York State, was convicted of the murder of Laken Riley. May he rot in hell for this heinous and unforgivable crime,"said Congressman Langworthy.
