Congressman Nick Langworthy Announces Over $8.1 Million in HUD Grants for Congressional District
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Nick Langworthy is proud to announce several federal grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for multiple municipalities across New York’s 23rdCongressional District totaling $8,197,416.
“I am proud to announce this critical funding, totaling more than $8.1 million through the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which will benefit many communities across my congressional district,” said Congressman Langworthy. “Housing availability and affordability continue to be pressing issues for many municipalities and these funds will go directly toward helping to meet those needs.”
The following communities were awarded grants:
- Erie County – $4.1 million
- Town of West Seneca – $347,667
- Town of Hamburg – $437,889
- City of Jamestown – $1.5 million
- City of Dunkirk – $421,860
- City of Elmira – $1.38 million
Some of the HUD programs included are:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME)
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
