Congressman Nick Langworthy Announces $20,000 Rural Development Grant for the Village of Sherman, Chautauqua County

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Grant for the Village of Sherman in Chautauqua County in the amount of $20,000 and a loan of $37,900. This funding will be used to purchase a new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with a snowplow.

Langworthy. “This vital investment ensures that the Village of Sherman can effectively serve its residents during the challenging winter months. I look forward to my continued work with Mayor Meeder and other local leaders to secure the necessary resources for our community's well-being."

This grant is part of the USDA’s Community Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program, which provides affordable funding to develop essential community facilities in rural areas.
