Congressman Langworthy Secures $1.25 Million in Funding for Hornell Water Plant in Government Funding Package

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that the Hornell Water Pollution Control Plant will receive $1,250,000 for needed improvements as part of H. Res. 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024. This legislation passed the House today in a vote of 339 to 85.

"I'm proud to secure $1.25 million for the Hornell Water Pollution Control Plant, a critically needed investment that will enable the city to address aging infrastructure, safeguard public health, and bolster economic growth in the region,” said Congressman Langworthy. “This new funding will ensure that constituents in Hornell have continued access to clean water well into the future. I'm dedicated to continued collaboration with local officials to meet the needs of our community and deliver real results for the Southern Tier.”
