Congressman Langworthy Appointed to Canada-United States Interparliamentary Group

Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) received an appointment from Speaker Kevin McCarthy to the Canada-United States Interparliamentary Group.
“I am honored to serve on the Canada-United States Interparliamentary Group, which plays a vital role in maintaining our robust bilateral ties,” said Rep. Langworthy. “This platform will enable me to promote economic growth and fully capitalize on the vast opportunities that exist with our northern neighbors. I look forward to representing the interests of New York's 23rd District in these important discussions.”
Congressman Langworthy’s district shares a border with Canada, and he serves on the Northern Border Security Caucus. The Canada-United States Interparliamentary Group was established in 1959 to foster cooperation between lawmakers in both countries.
